CALEDONIA — John Dennis Dancer III, 32, died Feb. 28, 2026, in Benbrook, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at Bethlehem M.B. Church, with the Rev. Willie J. Gardner officiating. Burial will follow at Sturdivant Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Dancer was born July 13, 1993, in Columbus, to John D. Dancer II and Gloria Baker. He was a 2010 graduate of Caledonia High School and was formerly employed as a packer with K.P. Staffing. He was a member of God’s Anointed People.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Tequila; and siblings, Lekendrick Rush, Ashley Daner and Kevin Gandy.

Pallbearers are Myron Kidd, Tyrell Burnett, Daiwon Kidd, Jayni Hayden, Marcus Baldwin, Boddy Woodrick, Brandon Brooks and Timothy Kidd.
