COLUMBUS — John M. Beamon, 60, died June 4, 2026. 

A private memorial service will be held. Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Beamon was born June 5, 1965, in Washington, D.C., to Dorothy B. Beamon and the late Edward Beamon. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Zeycan; sisters, Beverly, Vickie and Grace; and one grandchild.
