STARKVILLE — Joe Billy Matthews, 83, died July 7, 2026. 

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, at Memorial Garden Park Cemetery. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements. 

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Maxcy; son, Todd Matthews; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
