NOXUBEE COUNTY — Joann Walker, 57, died Feb. 18, 2026, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at Harrison Grove M.B. Church in Brooksville, with Billy Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Thursday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Walker was born May 8, 1968, in Noxubee County, to the late R.L. Walker and Willie Lee Rice Walker. She was a member of Harrison Grove M.B. Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Johnny Walker, Robert Earl Walker and Jimmy C. Walker.

She is survived by her children, Shreka Rucker, Will Walker and Shaquita Walker, all of Macon; siblings, Ann Goodwin and Barbara Moore, both of Macon, and Fred Walker of Scooba; and six grandchildren.
