CRAWFORD — Jimmy Lee “Kool-Stepper” Williams, 66, died June 8, 2017, at his residence. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harrison Grove MB Church in Brooksville with the Rev. Billy Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from noon-6 p.m. today at Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus. Mr. Williams was born Nov. 8, 1950, to Lola Mae Williams and the late Jimmy Lee Williams Jr. He was employed as a machine operator for Airline Manufacturing. He was a member of Harrison Grove MB Church. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lizzie Clemons, Willie M. Williams, Lola Mae Williams, Archie Williams and Henry Williams. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Tina Williams of Columbus; step-daughter, Catherine Williams of Columbus; siblings, Phillip Williams and Rebecca Dora of Columbus, Tommy Williams of Crawford, Charlie Williams of Brooksville, Mary Frances Mosley of Starkville and Bernice Robinson; one grandchild; and one step-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Anthony Harkins, Joseph Williams, Derrick Gray, Kenny Williams, Fred Tolon and Maurice Williams.
