SULLIGENT, Ala. — Jimmy Stockman, 62, died May 3, 2026, at his residence. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Otts Funeral Home Chapel, with Thad Hawkins and Kelvin Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Wofford Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Stockman was born June 14, 1963, in Vernon, Alabama, to the late Billy Joe Stockman and Barbara Sue Melcher Stockman. He was a 1982 graduate of Sulligent High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard and was formally employed in maintenance at the Air Force Base. 

He is survived by his sons, Dylan Stockman of Millport, Alabama, Hunter Stockman of Huntsville, Alabama, and Lee Rogers of Sulligent; daughters, Beth Sullivan of Huntsville and Lori Pettie of West Point; sister, Sandra Hudson of Vernon; and two grandchildren.
