STEENS — Jimmy Craddieth, 85, died July 6, 2025, in Columbus.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at New Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. Billy HIll officiating. Burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery. Visitation is from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Craddieth was born Dec. 10, 1939, to the late Josh and Ethel Furnace Craddieth. He was formerly employed as a farmer and was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Benny Gregory, Johnny “Bud” Craddieth, Bradley “Rounder” Craddieth, Sylvester “Jack” Craddieth, Lizzie Kate Craddieth, Frank Craddieth, James Craddieth, Cecil Craddieth, John Craddieth, Jessie Craddieth, Freddie Craddieth, Overters “Cutt” Craddieth and Mattie Will Polk.

He is survived by his siblings, LeAnder “Coot” Craddieth, Ruthie Mangrum of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Annie Davis of Columbus.
