COLUMBUS — Jerry Wrench, 71, died April 14, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Funeral services will be at noon Sunday, at Carter’s Funeral Services, with Otis Washington officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wrench was born Oct. 24, 1954, in Columbus, to the late U.W. Wrench and Minnie Wrench. He was formerly employed as a car salesman with Carl Hogan Automotive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Annie Page, Barbara Long, U.W. Wrench Jr. and Michael Wrench.

He is survived by his wife, Icie Morris Wrench of Columbus; son, Vincent Morris of Columbus; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers are Derrick Whitfield, Edward Moody, Anthony Frison, Addison Washington, John Wrench and Andy Thomas.
