COLUMBUS — Jerry Sharp, 58, died Feb. 13, 2012. Services are Friday at 11 a.m. at Full Gospel Ministry with Shirley Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation is today from noon to 6 p.m. at Carter’s of Columbus. Mr. Sharp was born Dec. 2, 1953, to the late Henderson Sharp and Clara Pearl Lathan Sharp. He was employed as a construction worker and painter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Payne. Survivors include his daughter, Chiquita Whitfield of Columbus; siblings, Shirley Conner, Henderson Sharp, and James Sharp, all of Columbus, Larry Sharp of Racine, Wis.; and two grandchildren.
