MOOREVILLE — Jerry Christopher McAfee, 51, died Sept. 13, 2012, at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Horace Barnes officiating. Private burial will follow in New Home Cemetery in Itawamba County. Visitation is from noon until service time at the funeral home. Mr. McAfee was born April 23, 1961, in Monroe County, to the late Barnie D. and Edna Lee Stepp McAfee. He was a resident of Columbus for 48 years and graduated from Lee High School in 1979. He worked as a caregiver, caterer and restaurant worker. He moved to the Skyline Community three yeas ago and was a member of Living Waters Community Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Inez McAfee; siblings, Tommy David McAfee, Barnie Gene McAfee and Judy Lee McAfee. He is survived by his sister, Linda Baucom of Caledonia.
