STARKVILLE — Jerry Travelle Bishop, 44, died Aug. 22, 2025, in Starkville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethel M.B. Church. Burial will follow at New Prairie Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from noon-6 p.m. Friday at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his parents, Teresa Bishop Foster and J.T. Poe Jr.; children, Soriah Bishop of Horn Lake, Jaylyn Waller of Athens, Georgia, and Nyla Bishop of Starkville; siblings, Martavius Foster of Denver, Colorado, Latawnya Williams of Starkville, Jeremy McGee of Artesia, and Rayvn Bishop of Columbus; and one grandchild.
