WEST POINT — Jean D. Guido-Below, 65, died July 13, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Houston, with the Rev. Alan Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 4-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Mortuary Service Chapel. Carter’s Mortuary Service of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Guido-Below was born Sept. 7, 1959, in Monroe County, to the late Willie Mae Carr. She was formerly employed as a caregiver.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Tyronical D. Guido; and brother, William Carr.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Below; daughters, Temeca Shephard and Tiffany Guido; siblings, Herman Randle, Warren Carr, Dorothy Calvert, Rodesta Tumblin, Maerean Turner, Vanessa Ivy and Mildred Stallings; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
