STARKVILLE — Jan Sanders, 78, died Dec. 30, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with James Towery officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Sanders was born July 19, 1947, in Macon, to the late W. S. and Ethel Vernon Lee. She was a 1965 graduate of West Point High School and was co-owner of Sanders TV Service. She was a member of West End Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sylvia Simmons and Rebekah Branch.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Sanders of Starkville; sons, Vince Sanders and Shane Sanders; sisters, Peggy Adams and Brenda Mitchell; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Andrew, Gage, Grant, Larry Simmons, Owen King and Jacob Inmon.
