MATHISON — Jamie Lee Hughes, 59, died June 8, 2026. 

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Travelers Rest M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. Monday, at West Memorial Funeral Home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Hughes is survived by his daughters, Jasimine Hughes and Jade Mosley, both of Eupora; brothers, James Curtis Hughes and Charlie Lee Ware, both of Maben and Henry Hughes of Grand Rapids, Michigan; sisters, Mary Myers of East St. Louis, Illinois; Henretta Bulter of Maben, Mary Jane Brownlee and Sharon Hughes, both of Starkville, Betty Jefferson of Greenwood, Rhonda McMorris; and eight grandchildren.
