James Kenneth Baird, 75 of Columbus, MS, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, at his residence.

Visitation will be Monday, February 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS.

Mr. Baird was born on October 8, 1950, in Jacksonville, FL, to the late James Kenneth Baird, Sr., and Lois L. Mattox Baird. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired Air Conditioner Technician. In addition to his parents, Mr. Baird was preceded in death by his wife, June Baird.

Mr. Baird is survived by his daughter, Jill Baird; sons, Jakob Baird and Jim Baird; brother, Keith (Kathy) Baird; and sister, Karen (Mike) Daniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
