COLUMBUS — Ira Dell “Bruh” Webb, 71, died April 6, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Carter’s Funeral Service Chapel, with Eric Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove M.B Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Carter’s Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Webb was born March 5, 1955, in Columbus, to the late Joe Webb Sr. and Isabella Moody Webb. He was a graduate of Motley High School and was formerly employed with Sanderson Plumbing, Mitchell Machinery, and Magnolia Tennis Court.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobbie Webb, Billie Webb, John Robert Webb, Joe Webb Jr., Joyce Webb, Patricia Webb and Kate Frances Webb.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Webb of Columbus; children, Pamela Williams and Marilyn Vaughn, both of Columbus, and Dawan Nanace of Hoover, Alabama; sisters, Della Thomas and Helen Webb, both of Columbus; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
