REFORM, Ala. — Ida Pearl Neal, 78, died July 23, 2025, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at New Light Baptist Church, with the Rev. Billy Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Neal was born July 18, 1947, in Reform, to the late John Neal Pearl Jones. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charlie Ellis Neal; and siblings, Gracie Randolph, Helen R Ball, Roy Lee Guyton and Charlie Neal.

She is survived by her siblings, Annie W. Guyton of Columbus, Viola Susie Mazyck and Luvenia Gooden, all of Reform; and six grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Willie Guyton, Caleb Prude, Manaleto Hinton, Charles Neal, Greg Jones, CJ Prude and Malcom Willingham.
