MILLPORT, Ala. — Hazel Francis Parker, 95, died Jan. 2, 2026, at Fayette Medical Center. 

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, at Dowdle Funeral Home. Burial followed at Higdon Cemetery in Kennedy, Alabama. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home. Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport was in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Parker was born July 2, 1930, in Millport, to the late Perry and Hattie Porter. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Merle Driver; and brothers, Clayton Porter, Cleon Porter, Junior Porter and Floyd Porter. 

She is survived by her husband, Charles Parker; daughter, Renee West; son, Dough Bobbitt; sister, Alice Hudgens; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
