COLUMBUS — Harold Lewis Barnhill, 76, passed away at his residence.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus.

Mr. Barnhill was born Nov. 1, 1946, in Metairie, Louisiana, to the late Hubert and Bettye Anders Barnhill Sr. He was a 1969 graduate of S.D. Lee High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was formerly employed as a welder with Ceco and Babcock and Wilcox. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Haley Barnhill; and brother, Henry Barnhill.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Brown Barnhill; siblings, Hubert Barnhill Jr, Harry Barnhill, Patsy Hedrick, Vicky Williamon and Barbara Buxton; and two grandchildren.
