STEENS — Grover Stanley Hudson, 61, died Jan. 17, 2026. 

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Military Chapel U.M. Church, with the Rev. Antra Geeter. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Hudson was born June 9 , 1964, in Columbus, to the late Clyde Hudson and Lollie Hudson. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his child, Corey Hudson; and siblings, Aaron B. Hudson and Kelvin Hudson. 

He is survived by his children, Demirious Hudson, Demarco Hudson and Carmen Hudson-Baldwin, all of Columbus; brother, Alvin Hudson of State Line; and three grandchildren.
