COLUMBUS — Gregory Jones, 69, died Nov. 11, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Annunciation Catholic Church, with Jeffrey Waldrep officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Thursday, at Hairston and Hairston Funeral Home. Hairston and Hairston Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Jones was born Feb. 4, 1956, in Eupora, to the late O.D. and Maggie Ford Jones. He was a graduate of Eupora High School and attended Rust College. He was formerly employed at Weyerhaeuser, Domtar, Waters Trucking and with the Aberdeen School System. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Wilkins Jones. 

He is survived by his daughters, Antoinette Pryor Nolen and Leigh Margaret Jones; siblings, Janice Bridges and Charles Jones; and two grandchildren.
