MILLPORT, Ala.  — Glenda Ruth Propst, 81, died July 27, 2025. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Dowdle Funeral Home, with Jordan Lollar officiating. Burial will follow visitation at Unity Grove Cemetery in Palmetto, Alabama. Visitation will follow services at the funeral home. Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Propst was born March 10, 1944, in Bessemer, Alabama, to the late Jack and Elaine Thompson. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Propst; and daughter, Debra Lynn.

She is survived by her son, Mike; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
