NOXUBEE COUNTY — Gladis Draper, 93, died Sept. 18, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Macedonia M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Oddfellow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Draper was born Dec. 20, 1932, in Noxubee County, to the late Harrison Landrum and Nellie Landrum. She was a member of Macedonia M.B. Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Draper Sr.; brothers, Leon Landrum, William Landrum, Lawrence Landrum and Genthry Landrum; and sisters, Herean Pippin and Ruth Johnson. 

She is survived by her daughter, Ethel Draper-Pruitt; sons, Glenn Draper and Frank Draper Jr.; sisters, Hazel Riley, Olivia Turner and Dorothy Landrum; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
