DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Geraldine “Jheri” Rosetta Griffin, 55, died April 7, 2023, at Well Star Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at United Christian Baptist Church in Columbus, with Dr. Steven L. James Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Griffin was born on July 6, 1967, to Tyrome Holloman and Marion Griffin. She was a member of United Christ Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Lee High School and earned a Cosmetology Degree from Mary Holmes College. She was formerly employed as a substitute teacher at New Hope High School.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Andrea and Arianna Griffin, both of Douglasville, Georgia; brother, Andre Griffin of Douglasville; and 2 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Reynolds, Andre Griffin, Steve Billups, Dennis Smith, Jerry Gregory and Robert Harrison.
