COLUMBUS — Geraldine Brown, 79, died Aug. 31, 2025, at her residence. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Shiloh Full Gospel M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Wicks Memorial Garden. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday, at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Brown was born Nov. 5, 1945, to the late Jimmy Lee Edwards and Lucille Wall Edwards. She was formerly employed as a music teacher and was a member of Shiloh Full Gospel M.B. Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bishop Freddie Edwards Sr. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Brown and son, Leonard Muhammad.

Pallbearers will be Elijah Omar Brown, Jovan Buckley, Byron Harris, Frankie Buckley, Dwayne Buckley and Jeremy Harris.
