George Hurst

WEST POINT — Dr. George Christopher Hurst, 67, died June 19, 2026.
A private family service will be held. Robinson Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Dr. Hurst was born Aug. 9, 1958, in West Point, to the late Harold “Ham” Hurst and Gilda Christopher Hurst. H ewa sa 1976 graduate of Oak Hill Academy, a 1981 graduate of the University of Mississippi, and a 1998 graduate of the University of Tennessee. He was formerly employed in the pharmaceuticals industry and with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and served on the board of Sally Kate Winters Family Services.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Horner Hurst; sons, Christopher Nelson Hurst of Nashville, Tennessee, and William Zachary Hurst, Esq. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
