WEST POINT — Gennie Lee Westmoreland Bobo, 99, died March 29, 2026, at Bruce Community LIving Center in Bruce.

Funeral services will be at noon Friday, at Zion Spring M.B. Church, with Tommie Lee Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Shepherd Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of ararngements.

Mrs. Bobo was born Nov. 2, 1926, in Calhount County, to the late John Westmoreland and Levanda Westmoreland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Bobo; chidlren, George Bobo, Arvin Bobo and Edna Armstrong; and 12 siblings.

She is survived by her sons, EJ Bobo, Willie Bobo and Eddie Paul Bobo; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
