MACON — Gayle Denise Wood Ford, 65, died Nov. 8, 2025, North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. 

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at first Baptist Church in Pickensville, Alabama. Visitation will be from 1:30-2 p.m. prior to services at the church. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Ford was born Sept. 7, 1960, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to the late Gordon and Margie Redden Wood. She was a graduate of Hardwicke MacMasers of Baton rouge and was formerly employed at a medical laboratory and as a receptionist at a law firm. She was a member of First Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Dan Ford; and brother, Randy Wood of Ethel, Louisiana.
