COLUMBUS — Frank “Mane” Rice Jr., 56, died Feb. 27, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Charity Full Gospel Baptist Church, with W.C. Talley officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Rice was born Nov. 23, 1968, in Columbus, to Barbara Talley and the late Frank Rice Sr. He was formerly employed with TrimJoist.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sonya Rice.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his father, Pastor W.C. Talley; son, Kaujai Tylazurus Rice; siblings, Janet Wells, Lori Bailey, Tracey Betts, Tonya Rice and Carolyn Ashford; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Betts, Kendrick Stewart, Kourie Johnson, Alex Jones, Devious Rice and Stanley Jenkins.
