COLUMBUS — Frank Gore, 78, died Dec. 28, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Stephen Chapel M.B. Church, with the Rev. Joe Lee Peoples officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation is from 1-4 p.m. Friday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gore was born April 2, 1947, in Columbus, to the late Iola Gore and John Gore. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of Stephen Chapel M.B. Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Eddie Gore, Edward Gore, Louise Gore and Patsy Gore.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Gore.

Pallbearers are Earnest Williams, Fred Young, Lanny Brooks, Hal Smith, Marvin Shelton and Charles Jones.
