WEST POINT — Fannie Louise Malone, 79, died April 1, 2021, at Trinity Healthcare, in Columbus.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, at New Hope M.B. Church Cemetery, with Jimmy Wofford officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation is from 12:30-1 p.m. prior to the service at the cemetery. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Malone was born Sept. 27, 1941, in West Point, to the late James Gibson and Mattie Gibson. She was formerly employed as an educator.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James Gibson Jr. and Matthew Gibson; and sister, Delia Ivy.

She is survived by her sons, Micheal Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Warren Lewis, and Robert Lewis; daughters, Joann Petty and Renee Michelle Garth; brother, J.B. Gibson; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
