COLUMBUS — ERica Wicks, 38, died Oct. 23, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Faith United Church Ministries in Crawford, with Tasha Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Wicks Memorial Garden. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. Friday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Wicks was born Nov. 5, 1986, in Columbus, to the late Rupert Wicks Sr. and Bessie Mae Brewer. She was a graduate of West Lowndes High School and Northeast Community College and was formerly employed with the United States Postal Service. She was a member of New Zion M.B. Church and attended Faith United Church Ministries.

She is survived by her children, Jermario Thompson Jr. and Emery Thompson; and siblings, Michael Wicks, Rupert Wicks Jr. and Demetrious Wicks.
