COLUMBUS — Ellis T. Cunningham, 65, died June 12, 2026, in Columbus.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at New Baptist Temple M.B. Church, with Tyson Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cunningham was born Dec. 13, 1960, in Columbus, to the late Sammie Cunningham and Callie Mae Cunningham. He was formerly employed as a landscaper.

He is survived by his children, Anton Andrews, Ebonye Cunningham and Tyson Cunningham; siblings, Annette Leigh, Sammie Conner, the Rev. Therman Cunningham, Lula Harris, Betty White, Norma White, Maurice Cunningham, Robert Coley and Dr. Amanda C. Ducksworth; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Anton Andrews, Roz Cunningham Sr., Mychael Hughes, Tyrone Cunningham, Caleb Cunningham and Rafeal White Sr.
