CRAWFORD — Ella Dell Selvie, 83, died June 18, 2026, at Ocean Springs Hospital in Ocean Springs.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, at Pleasant Grove M.B. church, with Rochon Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Selvie was born Oct. 8, 1942, in Oktibbeha County, to the late Booker T. Rice and Mary D. Selvie. She was formerly employed with Seminole Manufacturing and was a member of Pleasant Grove M.B. Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte Selvie; siblings, Deloise Selvie Collins, Robert Lee Selvie, James Earl Selvie, Willie D. Selvie, Albert Selvie Sr. and Houston Selvie Sr.; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Selvie and Dock Selvie, both of Mobile, Alabama, Fredrick Selvie of Columbus, and George Selvie of Pensacola, Florida; siblings, Tommy Selvie of Cincinnati, Ohio, Annie Ames, Quennie McCarter and Inell Stevenson, all of Crawford, and Barbara Bridges of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Albert Selvie, Jerome King, Anthony King, Greg King, Ray Johnson, Carlos Crusoe Sr., Neil Taylor and Randy Selvie.
