STARKVILLE — Elex Lowery Jr., 35, died Aug. 31, 2025. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, at West Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements. 

He is survived by his parents, Elex Lowery Sr. and Sarah Smith; brothers, JaMichael Lowery, Sir Walter Lowery and Gregory Lowery, all of Starkville; and sisters, Khloe Ellis and Kaitlyn Gandy.
