MILLPORT, Ala. — Effie Rose Cooper, 78, died May 14, 2026, at her residence.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport.

Mrs. Cooper was born Nov. 13, 1947, in Kennedy. She was formerly employed with Vernon and Fayette hospitals and with the Garment Plant.

She is survived by her four children, eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
