MACON — Edna Lee Jackson, 76, died Jan. 22, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle. Services are Saturday at 1 p.m. at Tabernacle MB Church with Leroy Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Brooksville. Visitation is today from noon to 6 p.m. at Carter’s of Macon. Mrs. Jackson was born Aug. 11, 1936, to the late Charlie Malone and Dissie Tweety. She was a member of Greenfield MB Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, James Jackson Jr. and Sammy Jackson; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include her husband, James Jackson Sr. of Brooksville; children, Price Malone, Princella Jackson and Estella Jackson, all of Brooksville, Maggie Jones of St. Louis, Willie Nell Skinner of Carthage and Lula Dell Taylor of Columbus; brothers, Charlie Malone of Brooksville and James Malone of Macon; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Thomas Conner, Anthony Skinner, Shaquille Taylor, Michael Webb, Lanaldo Hicks and Adrian Harlan.
