WEST POINT — Ebony Rena Morris, 42, died Aug. 7, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Strong Hill M.B. Church, with Cedric N. Dean officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Rest Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Mortuary Services Chapel. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Morris was born Oct. 6, 1982, in Monroe County, to the late Shannon McKissick and Barbara Ann Morris. She was formerly employed as a certified nursing assistant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ethan Word.

She is survived by her children, MarKeith Morris, Xzavius Morris, Travis Morris and Breuna Morris; siblings, Steven Hodges, Travis S. Morris, Cherie Battles and Emily Jeanette Hall; and eight grandchildren.
