WEST POINT — Earnestine Davis, 69, died Dec. 22, 2025, in West Point.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Third Mt. Olive M.B. Church, with John Lee Bowen Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Memorial Garden in Prairie. Visitation is from 4-5 p.m. Friday at New Zion M.B. Church in Plantersville. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Davis was born Oct. 5, 1956, in West Point, to the late George Bowen Sr. and Emma Lou Bowen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, George Bowen Jr., Roger Lee Bowen, the Rev. Bobby Bowen and Moses Bowen.

She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Celester Davis; children, the Rev. Edward M. Dean, the Rev. Jason L. Dean and the Rev. Cedric N. Dean, all of West Point, and Tiffany Briscoe of Houston, Texas; siblings, William Henry Bowen, Willie F. Bowen, Frances Deanes and Janet L. Bowen, all of West Point, Dr. Joe L. Bowen of Columbus, the Rev. John L. Bowen of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Bessie R. Townsend of Cedar Bluff, and Christine Davidson of Houston; and nine grandchildren.
