WEST POINT — Dr. LeAnn Rebecca Simpson, 63, died Nov. 14, 2025, at NMMC Gilmore-Amory. 

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, at Robinson Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Robinson Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. 

Dr. Simpson was born March 28, 1962, to the late Patrick Conn and Carol West. She was a graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and was formerly employed at West Point Animal Clinic and the West Point/Clay County Animal Shelter. 

She is survived by her husband, William “Billy” Simpson of West Point; sons, Randy Simpson and Bruce Simpson, both of West Point; brothers, Roger West Jr., Kenneth Conn and Charles Conn; sisters, Darla Estes, Brenda Wilson, Debbie Benefield; step-father, Roger West Sr.; and four grandchildren.
