STARKVILLE — Dorothy “Doris” Faye Jackson, 68, died July 20, 2026. 

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, at West Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. West Memorial Funeral Home of Starkville is in charge of arrangements. 

She is survived by her husband. G.J. Jackson of Starkville; children, Bernard Jackson and Michella Jackson, both of Starkville; sisters, Ruth Smith, Helen Smith and Wilda Collier Carpenter, all of Starkville; brothers, Willie Collier, James Collier and Carl Neely, all of Starkville; and three grandchildren.
