WEST POINT — Dorothy Ann Hoskins, 76, died May 18, 2026, at her residence in Pheba.

Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, at St. Paul Beasley C.M.E. Church in Pheba, with Cedric Brownless officiating. Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Mortuary Service Chapel. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Hoskins was born March 8, 1950, in Shelby, Tennessee, to the late Samuel L. Belk Jr. and Desser Cousins Belk. She was formally employed in legal services. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie F. Hoskins; sons, Trancy Belk and Marcus Belk; daughter, Tarnika Cummings; brothers, Larry Belk, Juette Belk, Roman Belk and John Belk; and sisters, Laura Belk Brownlee, Minnie Belk and Shirley Belk. 

She is survived by her daughter, Raiericka Cummings Rias of West Point; brothers, Eric Belk, Carl Belk and Jimmy Belk, all of Pheba and Lashorn Belk of Buena Vista; sisters, Gussie Shaffer and Genethie Belk, both of Chicago, Illinois, and Margarette Hill of Pheba; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
