COLUMBUS — Donehue “Donnie” Ponds, 60, died Aug. 10, 2025. 

A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at 605 Robert Butler Drive. Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Ponds was born July 19, 1965, in Columbus, to the late Wesley Gordon Ponds Sr. and Mary Ann Frame Ponds. He was formerly employed as a carpenter. 

He is survived by his son, Dillon Mills; daughter, Summer Odom; brother, Buster Ponds; and sister, Karen Naquin.
