SULLIGENT, Ala. — Donald Lee “Don” Flohr, 87, died Nov. 16, 2025, at his residence.

No services will be held. Otts Funeral Home of Sulligent is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Flohr was born Jan. 29, 1938, in Indiana. He graduated high school in Indiana and was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving as a navigator on the torpedo bomber and working on the Gemini Program. He was formerly employed with Americo in Cullman and Tecumseh in Tupelo and Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. 

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Otts Flohr of Sulligent.
