MACON — Diane “Leg” Taylor, 70, died June 20, 2026, at her residence.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, at Mt. Zion M.B. Church in Brooksville, with the Rev. Mack Young officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Taylor was born May 1, 1956, in Macon, to the late Walter Taylor and Johnnie Pearl Stewart Taylor. She was a 1975 graduate of Noxubee County High School and was formerly employed as a family assistant for John Dowdle. She was a member of Mt. Zion M. B. Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole T. Tate of Columbus; siblings, Eunice T. Scales and Sandra Taylor, both of Macon, and Cozena Taylor of Pickensville, Alabama; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Bryce Halbert, Martize Mitchell, Quinton Taylor, James Trimuel, Ladarius Mitchell and Timmy Williams.
