COLUMBUS — Devorris “Pocket” Vantreal Hill, 41, died Sept. 3, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Greater Mt. Zion Church, with Doran Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hill was born Aug. 30, 1984, in Macon, to Oscar Boyd and Glenda Hill. He attended Columbus High School and was formerly employed at Cooper Tires and MS Steel Processing. He was a member of Kingdom Vision Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Keston Hill of Columbus; and siblings, Karenda Hill, Tanesha Hill, Antonio Hill, all of Columbus, India Boyd of Macon, J Shawn of Birmingham, Alabama, and Jalontae Harris of Hattiesburg.
Pallbearers will be Marco Colvin, Terrance Colvin, Timothy Wilson, Torey Harris, Lafredrick Jackson, Nickolos Bonner and Shawn Jackson.
