COLUMBUS — Dennis Terrell Davis, 59, died Feb. 18, 2026, in Columbus.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Union Cemetery. Burial will follow. Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Columbus is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Davis was born March 20, 1966, in Eutaw, Alabama, to Janie Mae Davis and the late James Carr Jr. He was a graduate of Lee High School and was formerly employed as a caretaker with Southern Hearts. He attended Genesis Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Woods.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Shannon Mitchell, Sherrell Mitchell, Devaris Hayes, Shereka Mitchell, Rachel Mitchell, Glynisa Mitchell and Jerry Mitchell, all of Columbus; siblings, Joann Davis of Columbus, Clara Taylor, Syndretta Lee, Anthony Long and Antonio Davis, all of Tuscaloosa; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
