WEST POINT — Debra Lynn Ivy, 70, died March 31, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Mt. Hermon M.B. Church, with the Rev. Timothy Brinkley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-5 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Mortuary Services. Carter’s Mortuary Services of West Point is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Ivy was born Nov. 13, 1955, in West Point, to the late O.C. Ivy and Dessie Lee Glenn. She was formerly employed as a teacher’s assistant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Ivy.

She is survived by her siblings, James Michael Ivy, Robert Matthews, Charles Ivy, Glenn Ivy, Kevin Ivy, Walter Ivy, Patricia Ivy, Vivian Copperwood and Barbara Harris.
