CALEDONIA — Debra Palmer George, 70, died July 16, 2025, at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama. 

There will be no services at this time. Lowndes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. George was born Sept. 20, 1954, in Alabama, to the late Gayner Palmer and Lois Sisson Palmer. She was formerly employed as an accountant. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Palmer. 

She is survived by her husband, Douglas Wayne George; sons, Chuck Hagle and Lee Hagle; and three sisters, Wanda Cahill, Trudy Cook and Donna Maloney.
