COLUMBUS — David Monroe Jr., 41, died March 15, 2026, at his residence.

No services will be held. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Monday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services of Macon is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Monroe was born March 18, 1984, to David Monroe Sr. and Savannah S. Monroe. He was formerly employed with American Commercial Barge Line.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Chiquita Cornette of California, Dewon Monroe of Brooksville, and Erica Brewer of Macon.
